Facebook continues to be a driving force for marketers interested in reaching their audiences. As a social media design group, we're well aware of what Facebook users are looking for, so have created this, the first-ever, Facebook page for the Aveda Institute Chicago.
Launched to announce the Institute's all-new evening educational programs and to drive both salon and retail traffic, this initiative provides us with an all-new avenue to reach Aveda consumers, students and friends. The site also supports major print, transit and online advertising buys, samples of which you can see as you scroll along.. |

The AXE Hair launch included a visit to the ESPN ESPY Awards where celebrity athletes received this Grey Matter designed and produced swag kit featuring samples of AXE product.
Agency partners sponsored the AXE Styling Studio at the ESPY Gifting Center and provided men's grooming and styling tips to award-show attendees while distributing these custom-designed AXE Hair sampling kits as celebrity swag. Visitors to the AXE Styling Studio included professional athletes, television and film stars, and members of sports and entertainment media all of whom were encouraged to take our swag kits and try AXE products at home.

Print and outdoor advertising are staples of the Aveda Institute Chicago's brand marketing mix. The following samples highlight two recent transit campaigns focusing on cosmetology and esthiology class admissions as well as the launch of the AIC's evening class programs.
Both sets of creative highlight Aveda's natural approach to hair, skin and beauty care with an effort to build brand awareness and drive admissions. Print ads were placed in local Chicago magazines with supporting transit buys on subway trains and station platforms. As a leader in natural spa and salon care, Grey Matter has also made Aveda a leader in Chicago transit.

As the primary internal portal for Solo Cup Company employees, Solo's Channel ONE serves employees of the $1.5 billion company focusing on the manufacture of single-use, disposable foodservice products. Employees at more than 50 locations nationwide log onto Channel ONE daily to get company updates and access to proprietary business-critical systems at this Intranet portal.
Designed for and built within the Microsoft Sharepoint platform, Channel ONE serves as Solo's primary internal news and information vehicle as well a source for employees to engage with management via integrated social applications. |

The community for the American Nutrition Association (ANA) was designed to serve as the informational portal for the ANA's professional and student subscriber base.
This Grey Matter designed site was built by ANA agency partners on the open source Drupal platform, combining an easily navigable user interface with the powerful Drupal CMS for a complete interactive experience. ANA members include professionals working in the nutrition industry, consumers interested in nutritional well-being and students seeking background information for a variety of careers in nutrition.

Product catalogs and related sales sheets are an integral tool to marketing a brand. The Internet has failed to replace the need for hard copy versions of these items used to promote or introduce a brand.
Wrigley new product catalogs are included in our design portfolio. A few sample pages of a recent printed version highlights new gum and candy brands introduced by the international confectionary manufacturer. |

Global Wonders is a new brand of children's cultural entertainment that highlights the diverse lifestyle in which today's American child lives. Multi-racial families. Diverse communities. Unfamiliar customs and music. The Global Wonders DVD and music CD series offers today's kids a new way to look at the world around them. The Grey Matter designed and built site offers kids and parents an online destination to immerse themselves in this kaleidoscopic world.
Mimicking an online community, the Global Wonders site highlights the charming cast of characters featured in the series and engages visitors with video, music and more while offering total immersion into the brand and access to the Grey Matter built Facebook store. |
